Location:
Science Central
1950 N. Clinton St., Ft. Wayne, IN
 

Guidelines:
  • Participants must be Allen County Residents
  • Art pieces must be made of 100% Discarded Materials (Recyclables and/or Garbage)
  • Art pieces must fit on a 3 foot section of a table
  • One person must be able to lift the art piece
  • Participant or family member must submit project and be present at award presentation

Participation:
This competition is open to all ages! Participant categories are as follows:

* Preschool-Grade 2
* Grades 3-5
* Grades 6-8
* Grades 9-12
* Adult
* Group 1 (Preschool - Grade 5)*
* Group 2 (Grades 6-12)*

* Group Participation Guidelines:
  • Groups must be Not-For-Profit (IRC Code 501 (c) (3))
  • Limit of four groups per school class or organization
  • Limit of 10 participants per project and 1 project per participant
  • Groups not eligible for savings bonds - winners will receive a certificate and participation prize

All participants must register by Friday, April 9th, 2010.

Prizes:
The first place winner in each category will receive a $100.00 savings bond provided by OmniSource. Second Place winners will receive a $75.00 savings bond provided by National Serv All and third place winners will receive a $50.00 savings bond provided by SES Environmental. All artists will be awarded participation prizes.
