Your Resource for Information About Recycling & Waste Reduction

We have retired our annual Tire Amnesty Day event due to decreased demand for collection. Many auto service businesses in Allen County now accept used and worn tires, offering more opportunities for residents to dispose of their tires properly.

A complete list of businesses in Allen County that accept used tires can be found here or in our Waste Watcher Guide on page 37.

The Allen County Department of Environmental Management…

derived from the Allen County Solid Waste Management District. Since its inception in 1991, the District has been dedicated to providing residents with unique recycling and waste reduction opportunities. The Allen County Department of Environmental Management will carry on as your source for recycling and waste reduction information and more.
